Now simply run the following commands: config = bs.getConfig()
Removing the limits and playing with more than that should work fine but is not officially supported, so please don’t be upset if you see little problems like player lists running off the edge of the screen or if your OUYA/Mac explodes from the insanity of it all and burns your house down.įirst off, make sure you’ve gone through tutorial #1 so you know how to issue python commands to BombSquad. I built BombSquad’s engine to support *any* number of local players, but I decided to put in limits of 4 for co-op and 8 for teams/free-for-all so that I could ensure everything works cleanly with those numbers. I’ve gotten asked how to do this a fair amount so I thought it’d be worthwhile writing it down. I'm talking about BombSquad by Eric Froemling, which I think deserves a Google.Today we’re doing something simple but useful: turning off BombSquad’s player limits. I'm not talking about bombsquad for intellivision. The game I'm talking about has virtually no presence on the internet. Laglord ( talk) 16:23, 13 September 2020 (UTC) Thanks for your comments. :) But I'm afraid (a) this game is not an Android game (unless it was released as part of an Intellivision compilation), and (b) these kinds of comments are best suited for forums.
They are, much rather, seeking a rush of life-like visuals and themes, nevermind how much they understand what is happening and how enjoyable it is.Īnd so they feel turned off when offered simple yet lifelike control of a cartoonish character(in other words- most people prefer not to abstract much). I guess this is because not many people play a game for its own sake. I feel like it is the best video-game concept ever of all time,BY FAR, with every tiny detail being enjoyable and enormous potential for growth, but in reality, I'm just astounded by the fact it is practically unknown, and only a tiny minority of its player base see it for what it is. That's because this game is beautiful, and funny, and also inspiring and it has a very unique and innovative concept. And most video-games on android, I delete after few days of play. Even after 5 years, it is the only game I ever play, and the only thing that gives me a rush when I think of it. KieferSkunk ( talk) - 23:33, 18 September 2020 (UTC) BombSquad įrom when I first starting playing BombSquad I never felt like I would ever grow tired of it. While it might be a well-known thing, discussion on whether it's intentional or a glitch is probably better suited to a game-specific fan/strategy wiki or forum. Also, we can't really answer questions like that unless the maneuver in question is notable and documented in reliable sources. To my knowledge, there is no such concept in Bomb Squad for the Intellivision. Laglord ( talk) 06:01, 14 September 2020 (UTC) If you are referring to the "Bomb Jump" in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, then that is completely unrelated to this game. Was the "BombJump " manoeuvre coded for by Eric Froemling or is it simply an unintended result of a bug?
